Cuisine & Menu

1875 offers Indian regional cuisine at its finest with sommelier suggestions to create a perfect dining experience of Indian food.

Classically trained and hand-picked chefs from India will be taking discerning diners on a ‘gastronomic journey through India’ by offering food from all regions. We will vary our menu 2 to 3 times a year and offer food from the many regions of India whilst keeping popular dishes. 1875 will also host special food themes and promotions when celebrating Indian calendar events.

Offering Indian food that is not usually available in UK but in India, 1875’s favourite dishes top the list with Goan Pork Vindaloo and Beef Masala Curry.

Wherever possible 1875 seeks for a local supply chain to ensure freshness and low food miles. Our meat and poultry is sourced from Yorkshire farms

to ensure and maintain consistent quality, traceability and help local businesses. Other ingredients are locally sourced as much as is possible and all our spices are freshly ground on site to give the diners full flavour.

Sunday Roast – coming soon!

Let’s stick to the British tradition of a family enjoying a Sunday Brunch.

Now journey to India and have the meat marinated and then roasted and served with an Indian touch as the British officers did in the days of the Raj.

Sunday brunch’s menu will vary around roast pork / lamb / chicken / beef and other seasonal joints and all served with Indian sides and trimmings for the ultimate way to enjoy your Sunday’s. Good vegetarian options will be served too.
